Plushögskolan AB is Sweden's largest private provider of vocational higher education. Through the brands Affärshögskolan, Vårdyrkeshögskolan, and Teknikhögskolan, we offer vocational training in the form of programs and courses, corporate training, and customized concepts. We educate in areas such as economics, sales, marketing, urban development, IT, technology, energy, healthcare, social services, and social work.

Teknikhögskolan, together with Affärshögskolan and Vårdyrkeshögskolan, offers vocational programs and courses as well as corporate training in a variety of fields. We are spread across 22 locations throughout the country and are driven by the goal of providing companies and organizations with the right skills—not only for today's needs but also with a focus on building capacity to meet future demands. To achieve our goal, we work closely with our end customers in the market, which provides our students with relevant education that also leads to relevant jobs.

We are now looking for someone who wants to educate and develop our place-based program in Automation Engineering Robotics. Travel is included in the position. The position is primarily a full-time position, but we are open to a part-time solution if that suits you better.

Main Responsibilities

The position involves you, together with our educational leaders and support from external consultants, who are hired as needed, being responsible for the program with a focus on educating in:

  • Commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting automated systems and robots
  • Monitoring robotic work lines and processes
  • Control and regulation technology
  • Management of SCADA and HMI systems
  • CAD, vision technology, and sizing
  • IT security and IoT solutions
  • Laws and regulations, production economics, and work environment
  • Project management and Lean as tools for flexible and efficient workflows and processes within Industry 4.0

You will also work with the management group for the education (consisting of companies from the industry) and our business developers to develop the education and new concepts in the field.

Formal Qualifications

Your experience and breadth of competence cover the main areas of the education, and you feel confident in conveying knowledge in these areas and have the overview required to coordinate support from external consultants when needed. We prefer that you have prior teaching experience, but more importantly, you have the willingness and right drive for the assignment.

Personal Qualifications

The most crucial factor for succeeding in this role is that you have a pedagogical ability that allows you to convey knowledge in a clear and engaging manner. You also need to be confident in taking responsibility for your own work and work from a structured approach, while also having the ability to quickly find solutions when things do not go as planned.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with students, colleagues, and companies, which requires you to be clear in your communication and have an easy time building trust. You enjoy having multiple points of contact and are used to keeping both content and relationships together.

We see diversity as a strength and welcome applicants with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Our core values—quality-conscious, development-oriented, professional, and personal—shape our work. If you share these values, we believe you will thrive with us.
